This peaceful retreat is fully fenced and set back from the street, with artfully designed grounds and a window-filled ranch style house absolutely made for indoor/outdoor living.
The long, paved driveway takes you back behind the neighboring homes to a parking area and a decorative wooden gate with trellis. A wide doorway leads from the living/dining room into the kitchen and office area. A flight of stairs leads down to a lower bonus room and laundry area, plus access to the yard. Next to the stairs is a narrow office or play area. The bright kitchen has soaring ceilings and a large 3-sided workspace with a gas stove, deep sink, and tons of counter and cabinet space. There is a breakfast nook set into a deep bay window next to a 3rd set of french doors that lead out to an outdoor dining table.
The huge master bedroom suite is in the rear of the house, off the kitchen. It, too, has soaring vaulted ceilings and custom triangular windows under the peaks that look out onto leafy treetops. There is a sitting area on the left across from a spacious master bathroom with an extra-large standing shower and huge walk-in closet. The bedroom is serene, with walls of windows looking out onto the wooded backyard and french doors leading out to a stone path to the central yard area.
The home has a lower level “bonus room” that you access from a stairway in the center of the house between the kitchen and dining room, or through an exterior door to the side yard. It’s a spacious, carpeted area, perfect for a home gym, playroom, or guest/au pair quarters. The third full bath is off the bonus room. It also doubles as the laundry room with side by side washer/dryer and a deep storage area.
